These scholarships are possible due to the generosity of Irene M. The Goldsmith Aerospace Merit Scholarships were established in 1996 to recognize outstanding students in Aerospace Engineering, especially those who have not been receiving scholarships from other sources. **Only 1 application is needed for all Aerospace Engineering Scholarships with the exception of the Waas Scholarship Goldsmith Aerospace Merit Scholarships We are not currently accepting applications for Aerospace Engineering department scholarships. *The Waas Scholarship is accepting applications* *If a scholarship has different eligibility requirements, they are noted below. While receiving the scholarships, the recipients must remain in the Aerospace Engineering program taking at least 15 credit hours in both the fall and spring terms, continue to make progress toward the BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, and maintain an overall cumulative GPA of 3.2.Įffective Academic Year 2017-2018: Recipients must maintain a cumulative KU GPA of 3.25 and complete at least 30 KU credit hours each academic year. All KU Aerospace students who are showing evidence of high level of achievement (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2), and who will be taking sophomore, junior, or senior classes in the academic year the scholarship will be given are eligible. ![]()
